Centre for Human Rights & Human Development (CHRHD)
The Centre for Human Rights & Human Development (CHRHD) was founded to tackle significant and systemic human rights abuses, especially those emerging in recent years. CHRHD aims to be a catalyst for positive change, promoting justice, accountability, and human rights through rigorous research, advocacy, and community engagement.
We are dedicated to combating corruption, promoting democratic integrity, and ensuring justice for all. We aim to focus on, including but not limited to the followings:
Addressing Institutional Integrity Issues: Responding to the misuse of state institutions for political purposes, such as the Police, BGB, Ansar force’s alleged role in political repression.
- Combating Corruption in Law Enforcement: Investigating systemic corruption and misuse of authority within law enforcement agencies.
- Documenting Human Rights Violations: Addressing alarming cases of extrajudicial killings and forced disappearances.
- Advocating for Human Dignity: Challenging the disregard for human life and pushing for accountability in cases of political and social repression.
- Monitoring and Advocacy: Providing oversight and advocating for systemic reforms to prevent human rights abuses.
